General Information
Grunt Run will be a local run or walk 5K that will work to raise funds and collect items to be provided to our homeless community of the Augusta area. Come join Run the Tangents Timing on June 8, 2024 at 7:15 a.m. to give thanks through running and giving back to the community!
Please note that there are no refunds and there will be a 30 minute weather delay (if needed).
START/FINISH
The 5k will start and finish at Lake Olmstead Trailhead, 1 Milledge Road, Augusta, Georgia.
THIS EVENT WILL NO LONGER BE A PREDICT YOUR FINISH TIME AND WE WILL GIVE AWARDS TO THE TOP 3 MALES AND FEMALES AND TOP 3 IN THE AGE GROUPS.
REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Online registration will remain open right up until 5 minutes before race time. Race shirts are guaranteed to everyone who registers by May 4, 2024. Extra shirts (if any) will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Packet pickup will be posted once confirmed.
Registration prices
- 5K without a shirt are $20 through race day
- 5K with a shirt is $25 through 2/15/2024, $30 through 05/04/2024 and $35 through race day
Note: All runners who register by May 4, 2024 will be guaranteed to receive an official race shirt! Extra shirts (if any) will be distributed on a first come-first serve basis until they are gone.Age Groups and AwardsAge Groups are 14 and Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 - 79, and 80 + male and female plus top 3 overall. Awards will be determined closer to the event date. Chip Timed with awards based on Gun Times.

We will be collecting items for our homeless community in the Augusta area. These items include travel bars of soap, travel shampoo and conditioner, travel toothbrushes and toothpaste, drawstring backpacks, tissues, bug spray, chapstick, small first aid kits.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
(1) No refunds.
(2) Shirts will be ordered on May 4, 2024 and those that register after this date are not guaranteed a shirt.
(3) Packet Pickup will be determined.
(4) WE WILL HAVE WATER ON THE COURSE at each turn around point.
(5) Complete results will be posted online by 3 p.m. day of the race.
(6) Please note that if needed there will be a 30 minutes weather delay for the start of the race.
