General Information
The Grunt Run will be a local run or walk 5K and 10 miler that will work to raise funds for the Augusta University ROTC program. Come join Run the Tangents Timing on November 14, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. to give thanks through running and giving back to the community!
Please note that there are no refunds and there will be a 30 minute weather delay (if needed).
START/FINISH
Both distances will start and finish at Sharon Jones Amphitheather, 1001 Center St, North Augusta, SC 29841.
10 miler will start at 9:00 a.m.
5k will start at 9:15 a.m.
REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Online registration will remain open right up until 5 minutes before race time. Race shirts are guaranteed to everyone who registers by October 16, 2026. Extra shirts (if any) will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Packet pickup will be the morning of the event, November 14, 2026, starting at 7 a.m. until 8:55 a.m. Registration prices
- 5K and 10 miler without a shirt are $20 through race day
- 5K with a shirt is $30 through 5/1/2026, $35 through 11/7/2026 and $40 through race day
- 10 miler with a shirt is $45 through 5/1/2026, $50 through 11/7/26, and $55 through race day
Note: All runners who register by October 16, 2026 will be guaranteed to receive an official race shirt! Extra shirts (if any) will be distributed on a first come-first serve basis until they are gone.Age Groups and AwardsAge Groups are 14 and Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 + male and female (top 1) plus top 3 overall male and female. Awards based on Gun Times.
